Dessert
This traditional Chinese dessert combines the softness of tofu with the sweetness of white beans. It is light and refreshing at the end of a meal.

Ingredients
- 200 g silken tofu
- 100 g white beans, soaked overnight
- 50 g sugar
- 1 liter water
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 pinch of salt
Instructions
- Soak the white beans in water overnight.
- The next day, drain the beans and put them in a pot with fresh water. Bring to a boil and cook over medium heat for about 40 minutes, until the beans are soft.
- Add water if too much evaporates during cooking.
- When the beans are soft, add the sugar, vanilla extract and a pinch of salt and simmer for another 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cut the silken tofu into cubes and gently place them in a serving bowl.
- Pour the hot bean mixture over the tofu and let it sit for at least 10 minutes so the flavors blend.
- Serve the dessert warm or cold.
