Main course
Gyeran mari, a popular Korean omelet, is a simple meal often served as a side dish in bento boxes or as part of a traditional Korean breakfast. This omelet is soft and fluffy, with finely chopped vegetables and sometimes a little meat for extra flavor.

Ingredients
- 4 large eggs
- 25 g carrots, finely chopped
- 25 g onion, finely chopped
- 2 scallions, finely chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- Crack the eggs into a bowl and beat them well.
- Add the carrots, onion and scallions to the beaten eggs.
- Add the salt and pepper and mix everything thoroughly.
- Heat a large pan over medium heat and add the oil.
- Pour the egg mixture into the pan and spread it evenly.
- As soon as the edges start to set, gently roll up the omelet with a spatula, starting from one side of the pan.
- Keep rolling until the whole omelet is rolled up firmly.
- Take the omelet out of the pan and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Cut into slices and serve.
