Ingredients

  • 200 g unsalted peanuts
  • 150 g sugar
  • 60 ml water
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 1 sheet of parchment paper

Instructions

  1. Roast the peanuts in a dry pan over medium heat until golden brown. Stir often so they do not burn.
  2. In a medium pot, bring the sugar, water, and vinegar to a boil. Stir constantly until the sugar has dissolved completely and the mixture begins to caramelize.
  3. As soon as the mixture turns golden and thickens, add the roasted peanuts and mix quickly so all the peanuts are evenly coated.
  4. Pour the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Use a spatula to spread it evenly and press it flat.
  5. Let the brittle cool and harden before you break it into pieces.
  6. Store the brittle in an airtight container to keep it fresh.
