Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp ground sansho pepper
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp mirin
  • 1/2 tsp sugar

Instructions

  1. Stir all the ingredients together thoroughly in a small bowl until the sugar has completely dissolved.
  2. Let the sauce rest for at least 30 minutes so the flavors can develop fully.
  3. Stir again before serving. It goes well with grilled eel or other fish dishes.
