A simple, refreshing recipe for homemade apple juice that is tasty and naturally sweet. This freshly pressed juice puts the pure flavor of apples in your glass.
Xiāng Píng Guǒ Zhī (香蘋果汁), apple juice

Ingredients

  • 4 large apples, preferably a juicy variety such as Gala or Honeycrisp
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 50 to 100 ml water, to dilute if needed
  • 4 ice cubes, optional

Instructions

  1. Wash the apples thoroughly and cut them into quarters.
  2. Remove the cores and, if needed, cut the apples into smaller pieces so they are easier to juice.
  3. Put the apple pieces in a juicer. Add the juice of half a lemon to keep the juice's color and give it a fresh taste.
  4. Start the juicer and process the apples completely.
  5. If the juice is too thick, thin it with a little water.
  6. Serve the apple juice right away with ice cubes for extra refreshment.
